Just taking a break from inking my usual work to practice some other kind of inking. I like the American style sometimes, but for me, its more messy and takes waay longer to do than my usual manga inking...but I like playin' with the technique...

I don't particulary fancy the gangly shark mouthed grinning freak type of Joker. I don't think his face is stuck in a permenent grin, his lips can relax and his body is not scrawny (he needs a little muscle to put up with Batman after all). Who knows if he does have a bat tattoo though...

Anyway, hope you like--I might color it, but I'm too lazy and busy with a few other projects (commissions and INCUBUS).

i agree, it's all up to interpretation of the artist. love the hard edged shadows in the face. :3

I think your right about his body atleast he's gotta have something, or else batman would'a crushed him by now >.> as for the grinning I think it's kinda neat but I also think that the constant grinning was a deformity like 2 faces. But the ability to grin that widely and then go back to normal would Creep me out even more. o_0;

This is wonderful. I like it a lot. Would love to see your take on Riddler. My favorite version of Riddler is the newest animated show The Batman.
